To Cute TuTu

Ok so tutus are back in style for babies!! And after making this super cute outfit I wish they were back in for grown ups!!!

Take me Out to the Ball Game!!!

Pillow case dresses

Ok so I have attempted pillowcase dresses and apparently I have been doing them the hard way with two seams up the side instead of just one seam. So here is a dress that I made the hard way and next dress posted will be done the easier way without having to really use a pattern..... wish me luck!!!

no go train cake!

Ok so I attempted to make my 3d train cake... it turned out cute right out of the oven but once I started decorating it with my buttercream icing it got hard as a rock and We decided it was just going to be for show and not to eat. Instead I made a yummy golden yellow cake (from the box of course) with bavarian cream filling with pretty blue buttercream icing and grey fleur di lis on it! It was a big hit. Now my next project is going to be a baby girls hospital wreath and pillowcase dresses.

cake decorating class

I have just recently started taking a cake decorating class. I really thought I would be doing this just for fun but Im really learning alot... like I cant be lazy and buy icing and expect it to still look fancy. Homemade buttercream icing is the way to go ladies... not only will it clog your ateries and stop up your sink, it is so delicious and holds up great on any kind of cake. My husbands birthday is this weekend and I will attempt to make him a 3d train cake.... Cross your fingers this train makes it to the table!!!
